A few recap pictures since Ike...
Avery celebrated her 1st birthday by candlelight - actually a lantern. We were still without power after Ike, but SMART Grandma baked cupcakes the night before storm so Avery still got to do it up right!
"Can we go out yet??" We spent some fun time with our neighbors, the Mahlmanns, in the days following the storm. Avery & Mark are such cute pals:)
The "birthday girl" (adorable onesie thanks to Mam & Pap) and her b-day gifts. She was really more interested in the tissue paper.
Daddy made Avery a "box" house and she LOVES it! Avery is giving Halle the tour here.

What fun! I thought about sweet Avery on her birthday! I'm glad she got to do it all right despite the lights!
I love the house- what a GREAT IDEA! And your little girl is getting SO BIG- I think she may even be bigger than my Avari. Love the birthay onesie- Avari had the same one!!
