Our little get-away!

Kurt had some vacation time at the end of June, so we headed over to the Hill Country to visit his parents in Kerrville and then on to Lake Buchanan for a weekend with some friends. We had a blast! Avery loved 'going, seeing & doing' all week, and Kurt & I loved the rest & relaxtion. I think Avery's been depressed from the lack of attention since we got back home.

Our friends the Barkers drove through Kerrville one morning while on their vacation, so we got the chance to visit with them. Avery & Baize are about 3 1/2 months apart. Isn't he adorable!?


Avery had pool-time nearly every afternoon in Kerrville. She loved to kick & splash in the water.

As if the visit with Mam & Pap wasn't enough excitement, we headed to Lake Buchanan for a weekend with the Schoenings. Both Jeremy & M'lissa graduated from highschol with Kurt & they now have 2 precious daughters, Logan & Morgan. We always have so much fun with their family!
