We went to Costa Rica (sans Avery) in early October with Kurt's parents & his brother/wife. It was a wonderful trip, beautiful country & animals, and memorable time spent with the adult Leslie family.

Our resort was an eco-lodge built in the rainforest, so we were within feet of gorgeous birds, monkeys, and several other amazing animals - most of which I've only seen in zoos.

Though we missed Avery - especially by the end of the week - we were comforted knowing that she was in many good hands! Huge thanks to Grandma & Biggie, the Purcells, Freys, and Guinns!
