Thank you Avery!

This week we experienced a little Avery-scheme...
I was doing laundry & let her walk into the living room unattended. Less than 2 minutes later I followed her into the room and found her sitting with my cup of water (empty by then) and my cell phone - IN the cup. I had forgotten that my water & cell phone were left on the coffee table - shame on me, super for Avery. So, lesson learned.....DO NOT leave child unattended no matter what, when, where, how, etc. Avery's love of phones (& her smart, sneaky little mind) probably had her scheming weeks ago - she was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to snag the phone and destroy it, all while having reason to throw the blame on her sweet mommy.

Final facts:
1. The above phone is now dead & belongs to Avery.
2. Sprint insurance does NOT cover water damage.
3. Now aware of Avery's sneaky mind, we have an entirely different relationship.

Isn't it CRAZY the things they find to get into when you turn your back for literally seconds!?!?

Just wait until someday when Avery has a little brother or sister to scheme these things with her!

Did she have a cute, mischievious grin on her sweet little face? Poor phone...but smart Avery.

This totally happened to me recently...what a disaster. We were leaving town the next morning and he dropped the cell phone in the cup around 5pm. Needless to say, we rushed to AT&T to buy(yes pay full price!!!) a new phone! Kids are fun... :)
