It's beginning to look a lot like...

...Christmas!
We sure are enjoying the season! Here's some of what we've been up to...

Tummy time!! Avery is still not a fan, but sometimes she'll stay long enough to catch a snooze.

Liking the fist.
Visit w/ new friend, Kendall & her mommy, Lindsay. K & A wore themselves out talking about all that they were looking forward to doing together:)
For some reason we were a little slow in getting Avery a floor mat. "Hello mom! You're going to delay my development."
Visit with church friend Halle and her mom Ashley.

Sittin' in the Bumbo.
More fist action.
Our good friends, Brian & Erin, came to visit and had such a great time! In typical "Berg" fashion, they started the weekend w/ some laughs. Erin sure gave Brian (who is not short by the way) a hard time about looking small in this pic. Poor Pooners.Read Erin's shirt.
Avery loves her "Red Booby Berg" from B & A! Boys headed to golf....
Girls to Market Street for lunch, pictures w/ Santa & a little shopping & strolling. We met the Steph and the triplets & Jodi and her adorable son, Mark.
Jodi is a friend of Erin's from college but happens to live in our neighborhood. Yea for new friends!
Avery enjoyed her picture with Santa....the triplets, not so much. This "Pictures with Santa" sign was as good as it got for them. And even still, they were less than thrilled!
The boys & girls are back together for a fun night on the town...
Avery & Brian resting after a "wheels off" day.
Kurt & I were honored to be asked to light the 1st Advent Candle at one of our church services. It was such a neat way to start the Christmas season - and a lasting memory for our new family.
We enjoyed lunch at Tommy Bahama's with Big Momma/Daddy before Brian and Erin hit the road back to Fort Worth. What a great weekend - thanks for coming Bergers!
Avery was a huge help in putting up the Christmas tree this year! She cheered us on the whole time. Below is a wave to all her friends - "Merry Christmas everybody!"

We have a busy week ahead as Nat is preparing to return to work 3 days/wk starting on the 17th. More of "Avery's First Christmas" memories to come.
