Whew....

...what a day!
Avery was quite the social girl today.
Since she has not been sleeping quite as well the past couple of nights, our 7:30a.m. wake up "call" came early this morning. Avery was excited to get ready for a mid-morning visit by friends Lindsay and Lindsay's mom Ruth. We had a good time visiting, looking at Avery & talking about the excitement of Lindsay's soon-to-be arrival, Kendall Marie. As a childhood friend of Linsday's, I don't think we could have ever imagined we'd have girls of our own someday...."Indian Princesses", here we come!

Lindsay (& baby Kendall), Ruth & Avery

For lunch we headed up to Market Street to meet Steph, Lauren, Logan, Lathan, Emily & Cole. Em's mom, "GG" also joined us - what a treat - AND she treated us to lunch! Thanks GG!

Hi Coley!

"Hey Avery, wanna come sit by me?"

Nat, Em & the babies

We attempted to get a group pic......

What "really" happened - Avery was passed out not caring any less, Cole was trying to show GG that he really was o.k. sitting on the table, & the triplets were discussing the best way to eat a breadstick.

GG took Cole home so Em could go get a massage after lunch - lucky!

Group pic before we departed - minus GG & Coley:(

Tonight we headed to visit the YAM bible study group. Avery LOVES it because she gets to be held by beautiful girls all night:)

Scary (Halloween) faces

So, one would hope that a day such as this would make for a sleepy girl. (Note, however, that she's sleeping through most of the above "action"). In our case, it's a hope that's not been realized as of 1:40 a.m. the following morning. As I type this, I am listening to Avery (through her monitor) not quite ready to call it a day.

Looks like mommy will be sleeping in this morning.

On a final note, just a confirmation (check out the belly) that Avery is getting plenty to eat these days.

those pudges are nothing...wait another month and you'll be all pudges, which the adults think is cute.
