Week 3

Hard to believe Avery is already 3 weeks old! Each day brings another "first". We could just sit and watch her all day. Wait....take out "could". We do.
We took our first walk in the stroller this week. Avery (& mommy & daddy) loved having a break from the house!

Natalie took Avery to YAM bible study on Thursday night. She loved being passed around and admired by all the sweet girls. Next time we'll get group photo...

Daddy went back to work on Friday - boo! We sure missed him and can't wait to have him back home.
Avery's 3 great-grandparents (on Natalie's side) drove up this weekend to visit & meet Avery for the 1st time. (We hope to meet great-grandma Muttie very soon too!!) I don't think Avery was out of anyone's arms all weekend.

We tried on Avery's shades this weekend...still a bit too big, but good for a laugh.

Avery figured out how great her thumb was this weekend, so we may be breaking out the pacifier soon.

We went up to an Art Show at Market Street on Saturday & ran into Miss Gay (one of Natalie's highschool ballet teachers), her daughter Katie and Katie's daughter Robin. Avery is with Mimi.

Karen Nichols stopped by for a visit & brought some great gifts from the family. Thanks Dick, Karen, Pam, Jenn & Justin!
Desiree stopped by on her way back to Dallas on Sunday. Avery was so happy to meet Aunt Des! She brought Avery some wonderful gifts, one of which was this adorable outfit that she'll be wearing all week since it's almost too small! (I guess she's getting plenty to eat now:)
Another first....Avery went with Mommy and Des to Black Walnut for a great lunch & some girl talk. Well, Avery just listened.
Daddy set up Avery's Papasan swing this week - a new favorite!

Peaceful sleep...what could be sweeter.

Guess who's a Daddy's Girl?

Oh my goodness...she looks like she's grown so much since last week when I saw her!

The Guinn babies are sick right now (but on some very good antibiotics)...when they're feeling better and germ free we'll call you guys for a visit!
