On September 14th around 9:45p.m., Kurt and I were having a low-key Friday night when my water broke! I wasn't actually sure what had happened at first, because we heard a little popping noise but nothing else.....I stood up and jumped up a down a few times saying, "I wonder if my water broke??" Still nothing. A few minutes later, I heard another popping noise and instantly felt a strong contraction. From there, we were off to the hospital and the night just flew by.
Labor went very quickly and very well (epidurals are pretty great!) and Avery was born at 6:05a.m. on Saturday morning, September 15th. We were instantly in love and she has been more and more of a joy and blessing with each passing day.
